Sofalca – Sociedade Central de Produtos de Cortiça, Lda

Sofalca is a Portuguese company, which belongs to Grupo Estrada SGPS. It was founded in 1966 and is based in Abrantes, producing Black Cork Expanded Agglomerate (ICB). Most of Sofalca's production is destined for foreign markets, especially in Europe (France, Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom) and Japan, where the advantages of cork agglomeration as a form of isolation with a strongly ecological character are widely appreciated.
