The ACCEPT CE MARKING project aims to raise the awareness of manufacturers in the construction industry of key issues in the CE marking process for construction products, with a focus on innovative construction products and systems, contributing to the dissemination and market. In particular, it is intended to clarify the obligations of manufacturers when placing products on the market, clarify doubts related to the CE marking process and contribute to the identification and mitigation of trade barriers. It is also intended to provide a tool that allows manufacturers to disclose their products with CE marking. To this end, a stimulus platform and dissemination of the CE marking process for construction products will be set up.
Main Activities:The development of the ACCEPT CE MARKING project will be divided into the following main activities: Diagnosis and survey of the needs of the construction industry; Systematization and organization of all information on harmonized standards, conformity certification decisions, mandates, standards publication dates, deadlines for the implementation of harmonized standards and coexistence periods, list of notified bodies, list of technical assessment bodies, list of European evaluation documents, etc .; Building a visual identity for the project; Design and development of the ACCEPT Platform CE MARKING; Dissemination of the design and the CE marking procedure; Monitoring of project indicators, in order to evaluate the achievement of the proposed objectives; Stimulation of the ACCEPT CE MARKING Platform.
