One way of differentiating and consolidating IPVC is its constant concern for the quality of both training and infrastructures at the expense of simple growth. In addition to teaching / learning activities, which are its main objective, the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo also develops, through its Higher Schools, other actions in the fields of research and development, provision of services to the community, establishment of national partnerships and other cultural activities.
