Integrated Smart Grid Multifunction Solutions for Optimized Synergistic Distribution, Use and Storage Energy Technologies
Objectives:The inteGRIDy (H2020) project aims to integrate cutting-edge technologies, solutions and mechanisms into a scalable multifunctional platform by connecting power grids with diverse stakeholders, facilitating the optimal and dynamic operation of the Distribution Network (RD), promoting stability and coordination of distributed energy, and allowing collaborative storage systems within a growing share of renewables.
Main Activities:a) to integrate innovative smart grid technologies; b) Validate innovative technologies of demand response (DR) and relevant business models; c) To use storage technologies and their capacities to alleviate DR and to significantly avoid the restrictions of Renewable Energy Sources, improving self-consumption and net metering; d) To allow interconnection with transmission and heat networks, forming synergies of the Virtual Energy Network, guaranteeing energy security; e) Provide modeling and profiling for network topology representation, innovative DR mechanisms and Storage characterization, facilitating decision making in DR operations; f) Provide scenario-based predictive and predictive forecasting tools; g) Develop new business and services to create value for distribution stakeholders and end users / prosumers in an emerging electricity market.
Other Information:The inteGRIDY approach will be implemented and validated in 6 large-scale and 4 small-scale real-world demonstrations covering different climate zones and markets with different maturities.
