Description of the project:

Within the framework of development and valorization, the project aims to achieve biocomposite components to be developed through three lines of strategic action/orientation: 1. GreenStructuralComposites, high performance biocomposites, by incorporating cellulose fibers and cellulose nanocrystals into the matrix thermoplastic, oriented to the automotive sector; 2. GreenCompositesPot - biodegradable biocomposites with specific barrier properties, oriented towards the packaging sector; 3. GreenCompositesFoam - low density biocomposites, using the Mucell application, oriented to the sustainable (re)construction sector.

Objectives:

The "C-TEC - Molding of Technical Components in Reinforced Polymer Matrix Composite with Cellulose" project , aims to develop advanced molding solutions of high performance biocomposites and inducers of increase of properties to final products, for value added sectors such as the automobile , packaging and sustainable reconstruction.
